There are over 800 different languages in Papua New Guinea with three official languages, English (for schools & government), Motu and Pidgin or Tok Pisin, main daily language of communication. Tok Pisin is understood by nearly 90% of the population. This course program is to teach basic conversational Pidgin or Tok Pisin to foreigners who want to come to PNG as tourists, student exchange programs, research or for those who want to come and do business in Papua New Guinea.
